How is everyone’s week? Mine has been completely awful but also morbidly hopeful in some way, if that’s possible. I finally was able to trust a confidante at work enough to speak about my recent sexual assault, and I think it will help with my personal and professional well-being. I’ve also determined to take more upcoming vacation time (with her blessing) and am finally acknowledging that maybe “powering through” isn’t always the answer.

I am still keeping up with my running, though, because it’s been such an outlet for me, and I’m noticing that my healthy eating is becoming second nature (largely. I still had a Cadbury egg and some Girl Scout cookies over the weekend. But in moderation!)

Tell me about your week: successes, challenges. It’s been an emotional wringer for me, and I could use some distractions to get out of my head.
