So the skin on my face around my cheekbones/eyes has been sore to the touch lately. I notice it when I wash my face, apply lotion, or apply sunscreen (also when I rub it, but I don't do that much). After I wash my face and apply lotion (with products I've been using at least 6 months), it will hurt for a few minutes. Same with sunscreen (same brand I've used forever). The rest of my face is fine, but the sensitive skin is on both sides.

I assumed it was just a sunburn at first, especially because it would be a part of my face just below where my typical baseball cap shade ends. But it hasn't gone away, even though I've been religious about sunscreen use (and I'm good at sunscreen use when I put my mind to it—putting on so much it doesn't fully soak in right away, reapplying every few hours, etc.) since I noticed it. It's been about a month though, and it's still just as painful as it was the first day. It also isn't discolored and there's been no peeling or anything.

Any ideas of what could be going on? It looks fine but it hurts, and that worries me a bit...
