It’s been a long, long road folks. And it’s finally almost over. No matter what happens, it’s over. I feel good. I voted for the first ever female presidential nominee in a major party. A person I admire who may very well be the President. It’s sunny outside, and I feel like there is hope. I’ve seen patriotic songs being passed around my liberal social media buddies, and it feels good. I listened to a few oldies but goodies (“God Bless America”) and shed a tear or two. I danced around the kitchen with my kids singing Sister Suffragette and pumping our fists.

There’s nothing else I can do but wait now. But I think we’ll make the right choice. And if not, I’ll still be here to fight and protect what I care about and love. I won’t give up, and I won’t be silenced. Well done, sisters!
