We went to the store to get decorations for Halloween, and as we passed by the aisles for toys, I saw this.

Not one female superhero present. You know. Because. Here's the thing: My child loves some of the superheroes here. She would be thrilled to get these. But, I know these are not marketed to her, even though she does not know. She does ask questions like, "Where are the girls?" If I were a superhero right now, flames would be shooting down the sides of my face. That would be my superpower. I would be interested to see the clothing marketed as well, since that's been a huge bust so far. The Star Wars group above is the same way. It's a bunch of rebel characters. All male. Is it ridiculous to be enraged that these things are leaving out entire characters from the merchandising? Because I'm pissed off and tired of this.

I BUY TOYS FOR MY CHILD, MARVEL. YOU TOO, PEOPLE OF THE MOUSE. YOU KNOW BETTER. ONE WORD. FROZEN. Both boys and girls bought the merchandise.

I am going to believe this is an oversight or a delay in getting out all the merchandise, and I'm going to see it the next time I go to the store. ::tapping foot::
