I bought a new car last week (yay), after agonizing over whether I should do it for literally months.
I was going to get takeout for dinner just now, and I had my first accident. A dog darted out in front of my car, and I hit it. Thankfully, the dog was fine (I actually pulled over, as the dog ran into its owner’s home, to make sure he was okay. The lady inside told me he was fine, and yelled at her daughter to keep her dog from running in the street), and my car wasn’t damaged or anything.
I’m still debating if I should tell my mom, who I live with, since I know she will basically go into five minutes of “I TOLD YOU TO BE CAREFUL! THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULDN’T GO OUT THAT CLOSE TO NIGHTFALL” and I don’t need that in my life.
