Favourite: Broccolini, steamed, and by steamed I mean wet under the tap and microwaved briefly. I could eat a barrow load but it is not the cheapest vegetable. Runner up: eggplant, sautéed and dressed with garlic, soy and sesame oil.

Least favourite: those little yellow squash that look like flying saucers. I check every few years to see if I’ve grown into not hating them but nope.
