What is it about catering food platters...

That makes me want to devour everything in sight? Every time I see someone with those black plastic trays with the clear tops, my instinct is to mug them and run off with all the delicious, delicious food. I don't even know what I would do with 45 mini chicken wraps and a selection of finger-sized vegetables! Literally any food is more appetizing when served as part of a catering spread, even celery (which is the world's most pointless food otherwise). I'll even pick at the little shreds of salad greens they use as garnish if there's nothing else left. I have no shame.
