The part that makes you stop and think, this is what I do professionally? Or, if you are inured to the weirdness in your own life, the part that makes other people go, "huh?"
I think the weirdest part of my job is checking to see if a small human has peed or pooped himself or not, and if any leaked onto his clothes. Is this shirt damp? Did he sweat in his sleep or is it pee leakage? Actually changing diapers doesn't feel weird, but feeling to see if his diaper feels heavy, or smelling him, just seems like a weird thing to do.
Me: walking over, acting like "Hold on and let me grab your crotch."
Him: strangely not telling me to fuck off
Me: weighing diaper in hand "I think you need a new diaper"
Him: "NO I WANT TO PLAY TRAINS"
Me: "But you pooped."
Taking care of small humans is weird.
