Welcome To The Bitchery

So I saw this book at Barnes and Noble in December and I wanted it, but it was $50:

Then a few weeks ago I was at Costco and they had it for $30. MINE!!!!

Tonight I made the Stuffed Chiles from Monterrey and the Wild Greens. Holy Fuck these are delicious. I did use black beans instead of flank steak for the chiles regios since I am trying to be mostly vegetarian.


Seriously delicious. The only time I have seen some variation of chiles rellenos where they weren’t battered and fried.

Anyone else having amazing success with a new meal? Or a complete failure?

Also, I completely recommend this cookbook. So much regional food I have never heard of before and am so excited to try.
