I just finished a few hours of food prep for most of what I’ll this week. It’s hot and gross outside, so summer veggie salads all week.
Neighbors down the street said I could pick some blackberries from their bushes, and now I have about a pint of fresh berries! I picked up some local plums (Yellow! I’ve not had yellow plums before!) at the farmer’s market and so now I’ve got my fruit and yogurt figured out for the week. :)
I also made some applesauce with apples too old to eat, so when that cools it’s going in the freezer for when I want it.
