Welcome To The Bitchery

I made a fabulous pot roast. (Someday, I hope to be able to post pictures again...) I splurged big time and got nearly 6 pounds of chuck roast at Sam's Club the other day. I dumped that in the crock pot this morning, along with a huge chopped up sweet onion, nearly an entire bulb (not clove, bulb) of roughly chopped garlic, a few splashes of worcestershire sauce, 1/2 a small can of chipotle salsa, a 1/2 pint of my homemade tomato/pepper/onion sauce, chile and garlic seasoning, cumin, and 1 beef bouillon cube. Added a couple cups of water, and turned that sucker on high. After about 3-4 hours, I put in 8 small whole potatoes, and let it cook until those were soft through. Omg. Spicy, brothy, beefy goodness. It is deeeeelicious.

I'm planning to leave the broth on warm overnight and put the rest of the bag of potatoes into it, so that can be lunch tomorrow. There's pretty much no meat left, if you can believe that.
