Tonight I am making a semi-homemade bolognese sauce and some spaghetti because fuck low carb, apparently. I fried up some bacon, then cooked a pound of ground beef and some onions, peppers, garlic, and carrots in the drippings, added the chopped bacon back in and poured a jar of store bought marinara in the pan with a cup of montepulciano wine. Gonna let that cook for about an hour and I plan on having a few glasses of the rest of the wine while I wait. May make a simple mixed green salad and some sourdough toast to go with, then dessert is going to be some berries I need to eat before they turn bad.
