Interesting: David Mamet refuses to allow “talkback” sessions where a theater company discusses his work with audience members shortly after a performance.
(ETA: And I guess by “Interesting:” I mean “Shitty:” because this is terrible.)
Seems...not great? And to send a new contract over 4 hours before a performance is unquestionably a dick move. I mean, it’s got to be hard to put your work out there and let other people hammer at it. But is art only what the artist tells you it is? Does the beholder have any part other than the beholding?
