This year I decided to grow blueberries and strawberries in my garden. It was such a horrid winter both weather-wise and in my personal life (long story) and this idea actually got me through a few rough patches. I ordered strawberry plants online and I was so disappointed when a bunch of dry, dead roots arrived - however, as directed, when I put them in water in a sunny window, they began to grow leaves. SO, last weekend I planted them in earth and put them in a nice sunny spot, and when I got there yesterday (I’m only there on weekends), damn squirrels had dug them up and thrown them around in order to check my planter for nonexistent nuts. I found about half of them and I brought them home and put them in water again, but they were completely desiccated. Do you think they will revive again? It seems like a lot to ask :-/.
