Welcome To The Bitchery

I like my job, and very grateful to have it. Here are my updates:

  • First day: I got to meet the other people in the office, who are very nice. I felt like such a loser, but the people are nice-made me feel like less of a loser.
  • First day part 2: My car got half totaled on the way home and I cried. It’s still half totaled. It’s bad. I even spun out. On top of that traffic always sucks.
  • Second day: Anxiety all morning because of the car. I got a bit better at a few things, but currently tasked with doing a lot of busy work. I did get to do some real work, but I never learned how to do it-but the nice people really helped me.
  • Third day: Got a bit tired at the end of the day. Felt like an outsider because I’m not totally integrated into office talk. Stayed busy with my busy work. Made it home in record time...an hour and 15 minutes. In the still half totaled car.

Non-work related: I’M BACK TO DANCING! And I remembered 90% of the moves! Still got it. Pole is my life again. Plus I’m planning on taking extra classes for other stuff at my studio after work...gotta beat the traffic. Gotta get dem abs.

Bottom line: I want to get my car fixed. I value time more. I want to do a good job. I am grateful for the job, and for my return to dancing-still in 6 inch heels!
