Working Out In The Morning

My New Year’s Resolution is to be a better morning person. For me that means actually doing something in the morning other than rolling out of bed at the last possible minute, zombie walking through taking a shower, brushing my teeth, & getting coffee, and finally shambling out of the house. I want to be less like this:

To get a good start, I’m going to get up an hour before I normally would. Last night I prepped for exercising this morning by wearing my sports bra to bed. I didn’t end up exercising because I was annoyed by my mom waking me up by stomping around at 4:30 in the morning but what are you gonna do?

Tomorrow morning is a new day though so I’m going to set my alarm for 7am, drag ass over to the elliptical and start my morning like I should. I did have some toast with almond butter and sliced banana though and that was bomb so thumbs up on breakfast!

Anyone else trying to be better in the mornings? Any morning people have tips or tricks for making it easier to get out of the house in the morning?
