The recipe for Kool Aid pickles is a pack of Kool -Aid, 2/3 cup of sugar and a packet of what ever flavor of Kool-Aid you like. Pour your pickle juice in to a bowl with the sugar and Kool-Aid, then mix until the sugar has dissolved. Pour the pickle juice back into pickle container. The pickles should be refrigerated for at least a week. The dye in the Kool aid changes the color of pickles and makes them look a bit like shards of stained glass, the pickles also take on the flavor kool give a nice fake fruity sweet and sour flavor. The pickles should remain quite crisp.
