I know I’m not the only person on GT who got into yoga in the past year. Although I never was a class-a-day person and although I haven’t stepped foot in a studio, I still try to do one or two videos a week. It made me feel calm, confident and gave me a bit of time that I choose specifically to love myself and be kind and forgiving of everything that happened that day or week. Not only that, it helped me get to know my body in a way I never had before. Not pushing it this way and that, but getting to know what I could already do and how I could improve.

When I saw this video I wanted to share it with everyone who has liked yoga but more importantly everyone who is just getting started! I still suck (and I think I sprained something in my foot in a way that isn’t healing, oops) but this resonated with me. Yoga IS for everybody (who enjoys it) and I found this video to be very body positive in a way that fits yoga (as I know it) perfectly :)
