I've heard that from a few women and it's kind of rubbing me the wrong way. Don't get me wrong, everyone has been very complimentary and effusive, but it's not like I ran into a burning building to save some kittens.
I know...long hair is part of the feminine beauty ideal, so lots of women feel doing something different is terrifying and dangerous. But really? Is our bar set so low and so hard that something as simple as cutting your hair is "brave?" That bums me out.
